PRIVACY COLLECTION STATEMENT

Purpose of Collection

Council is collecting information from residents who attend events within the Forbes Local Government Area to inform the evaluation and improvement of events.  This information is being collected through anonymous surveys which seek the opinions of residents.

What information does this survey collect? 

This survey does not collect any personal identifying information, with the exclusion of full name and emails for those who wish to subscribe to Council's Whats On Newsletter. Any personal identifying information that is provided, such as in free text fields, will be excluded from the data set on publication. 

How Council uses or discloses this information 

Council will use the information collected in this survey to evaluate and improve on events in the Shire. The data collected from this survey may be included for reporting, research and statistical purposes in accordance with the Data Management Plan for this project. 

What information are you required by law to provide to us? 

Providing us with the requested information is not required by law. However, any information you choose to share with Council will assist Council in delivering amazing events for our town.
